Biographies

We have been researching various important people in history through our Biography Unit in Reading.  We have read multiple resources on Harriet Tubman, documenting our thinking while reading on a RAN Chart.  We have then worked together to identify important information and to transfer our findings into notes about Harriet Tubman's childhood, adulthood, and achievements/accomplishments.    Click on the following link to view a sample speech on Harriet Tubman, created in first person point of view through iMovie.

Students have chosen independent biographies to read and are currently taking notes and preparing an essay in third person point of view and a speech in first person point of view about their chosen person.
